Handwritten notes: There's just a hint of rye whiskey in there, among the usual grapefruit players. There is also a woody oak-like taste that is too intriguing to pass by. It's just enough complexity in the oakiness to drag your mind away to some sock-drawer memory of your early youth. This is certainly different than anything else I've had lately. This is one of those rare occasions where you have no idea that the beer has a high ABV. Killer.
