Handwritten notes: Once upon a time (about 4 years ago) I was obsessed with Indian culture. I cooked and ate the food, I listened to the music, and I watched the Indian programs on Saturday morning (their commercials are f-ing hilarious by the way). I wanted desperately to find and purchase one of those "long shirts" that they wear - the ones that go down to your knees. I wanted to change my name to "Brajeep". People, I wouldn't make this up. But this beer made me say (in the most stereotypical accent): "no no no no no no no!". There's something immediately offensive in this. If it were a standard Canadian macro I'd probably buy it once in a while, just for a bit of a change. But worth the $2.50 I paid for it? No no no no no no no!!

Handwritten notes: It's quite odd that I have never before heard of "the world's most celebrated lager". If nothing else, buy this beer for the incredible glasswork on the bottle. It is outrageous. I sincerely hope this beer was not imported to my City to coincide with the opening of the GI Joe movie. This is a bitter (and therefore good) beer. There is not much body to it, but by this point in my career I have begun to realize that I prefer the lighter, hoppier beers. It is perhaps interesting to note that this is my second beer from India, and both taste exactly like German lagers. This beer would be a nice compliment to a plate of orange-brown mush and rice. I like Indian food, but no matter what the recipe is, it always turns out looking like the time your dog ate his own crap and vomited it up.

Handwritten notes: Looking at the bottle, it's exactly what I expected it to be... a light, very hoppy, German style lager, done just as well as the Germans... not being surprised has kind of disappointed me but I should not (and will not) penalize this beer for that... nice flower, spice, fresh aroma... exactly like the others that I've enjoyed so well.
