Handwritten notes: This is a classic brown ale. When I think "brown", this taste comes to mind. It takes you all the way up the smoky stairs to dark beer town, then leaves you outside standing in the rain with a wilted bouquet of flowers in your hand saying "what did I do wrong?". But you're better off for having loved and lost, pal-o. And this is a dern good brown ale.
