Handwritten notes: I was giddy upon finding this and Thirsty Beaver at my local LC. My giddiness was well founded, like that one Christmas you remember as a kid when you got exactly what you wanted. This is an adventurous take on the Canadian Pilsner. Yes, Canadian Pilsner. It is its own genre. This has more of a light ale taste than a pilsner. Canada has bastardized the pilsner name, but this beer does it damn well. The hops are more subdued than I'd like but a lovely flavourful flowery malt taste nonetheless. This is a great Canadian craft in that it does not pander and is not cliche. Me likey.

I was just wondering...where do you find all of these beers? Are they just all at your local store?

Mostly at my local LC, yeah. Some of the American brews I scored on a trip to North Dakota/Minnesota last spring. And I just went over to Kenora, Ontario last weekend and picked up a whole host of the beers available in Ontario. Those will follow in the days to come.

This is a way of life, my friend.
