Handwritten notes: This beer is a nice wheaty punch ("punch" in the sense of fruit punch, not the fist kind). This is a lemony, banana-ey, tangerine-ey nod to the shandy. It is lightly spiced to the point of being noticeable, but not distracting. This may not be the most spectacular thing I've ever had, but I have to give it props because it is a "sit-beer". I have always feels that you can choose a beer based on any situation: any season, a sunny or rainy day, any frame of mind, any possible series of events. So strong is my conviction that I have included "best for:" in all my reviews. This has mostly been an opportunity for me to be a jackass, but I truly believe in the premise. Example: picture that you have just spent 6 hours re-doing your taxes for the past 3 years. You put down your pen with numbers swimming through your head and exhale heavily. Now, do you want a wheat fruit beer or a 8% stout? Exactly.
