Label Reads: "Cask conditioned ale has been the popular choice among brews since long before prohibition. We continue this pioneer spirit with our Wisconsin farmhouse ale. Brewed with flaked barley and the finest Wisconsin malts. We even give a nod to our farmers with a little hint of corn. Naturally cloudy we allow the yeast to remain in the bottle to enhance fullness of flavors, which cannot be duplicated otherwise. Expect this ale to be fun, fruity and satisfying. You know you're in Wisconsin when you see the Spotted Cow."

Handwritten notes: The first thing I taste is peaches, or nectarines, or something like that. I'm surprised to find a US micro not screaming hops until its throat is raw and bloody. There's not a bitter hint to be found, and for one of the first times in my life, I'm okay with that. There is something very clear, fresh and unique about this beer that I like and I can't quite pin down. I wonder how much cheese is in this beer? I recall driving through old Wisconny, and pulling off the freeway for a few miles to a little town to get some gas. Next to the cash register that was a pile of cheese curds on a plate with a sign that just said "$2". I can only assume that meant $2 per handfull. Uck.
