Handwritten notes: The long lost half-brother of the badebier... nice, thick, deep-flavoured porter... crisper than most, but sporting the coffee/caramel/chocolate profile as well as any other... a nice warming beer... however, it is a lovely spring night tonight and I do not feel the same draw towards these strong, dark beers as I once did.
